Currently we are practicing in the following areas:

• Bail Hearings: bail hearings for all offences, s.524 hearings, bail reviews, bail variations, bail estreatment hearings;
• Homocide: Criminal negligence causing death, manslaughter, attempted murder, and Murder;
• Assault: Assault (simpliciter), Domestic Assault, Assault causing bodily harm, assaulting an police officer, aggravated assault;
• Drinking and Driving Criminal Offences: Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle (causing bodily harm or death), Over 80 Milligrams Percent of Alcohol, Refusing to Provide a Breath Sample; hit and run (fail to remain), Dangerous driving (causing bodily harm or death).
• Drug Offences: Drug Trafficking, Possession of Drugs, Drug importation and conspiracy to traffic drugs;
• Criminal Offences against the Administration of Justice: failure to comply conditions of release pursuant to a bail order, obstructing police, obstructing justice, perjury, and failing to appear in court.
• Property Related Criminal Offences: theft under and over $5000, shoplifting, possession of stolen property under and over $5000, mischief under $5,000 possession of burglar tools, and robbery.
• Weapons Related Criminal Offences: Possession (of a loaded) firearm, careless storage of a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, use of a weapon in the commission of a criminal offence (robbery, extortion etc).
• Cyber Crimes – Computer related Criminal Offence: Child Pornography, Fraud and Identity theft, information warfare, fraud, Phishing scams, unauthorized access, obscene and offensive content, inciting hate crimes, criminal copy right infringement, criminal defamation, Internet Drug Trafficking, and cyber terrorism.
• Fraud: Insurance and bank fraud, tax evasion, breach of trust, impersonation, uttering a forged document etc.
• Criminal Harassment: Stalking, uttering threats
• Deportation and Extradition: Removal under s. 48 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, extradition to treaty partners etc.
• Appeals: Defence and Crown initiated: Summary Conviction Appeals in the Court of the Queen’s Bench; and to the Alberta Court of Appeal, applications for Judicial Interim Release pending appeal.
